About the role
A truck off the road is a delivery missed. You will keep the fleet safe, legal and available.
What you will do
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair diesel engine, brake and electrical faults
- Inspect tanker trucks before dispatch
- Keep maintenance and inspection records up to date
- Advise on parts, tyres and replacement schedules
What we need
- Trade qualification or solid experience as a heavy-duty/diesel mechanic
- Experience with trucks and trailers
- Methodical approach to inspections and records
